Well of course I would crap my pants too if I was spraying behind these things… #1 it’s really really hot #2 These suckers are pulling like 12-13,000 pounds of thrust, and #3 they take off running I’d say at least 8 G’s Vertical
every one says that top fuelers are quicker they are for the lenght but if it was a 1/2 mile race these things would smoke and plus they can only run a certin amount of power or they rip the asphalt right off the track
So your saying they raced a heavy one against a lighter one with a much more powerful engine gave him a head start and the heavier one with the much smaller engine beat it…………?

it is so fast on the straight. but i bet my civic is faster on the circuit. they have a tturning circle of a moon. cant corner.
but it is amazing how the driver cope with the G force.

i remember seeing these things race at willowbank racway… they were spraying foam on the track so it didn’t catch fire!

1/8 mile screw blowers are faster than the jet cars and yes thats true they do slow them down but still pro mods with screw blowers are faster

these two cars are not exactly equal, one is heavier by a fair amount and the lighter one also has a much more powerful 2 stage motor
